FILM PROJECTS

A huge part of what we do is design unique interventions with our clients, ensuring what we deliver fits with your key learning objectives and signposts any relevant resources. We are always open to adapt current projects, or to create entirely new ones on any topic of learning - to hear more about what we can deliver for you, please get in touch!

As well as conventional TIE, we also have the capabilities, equipment and skills to develop professional educational films over a very broad range of topics. Below you can see some examples of the films we have created:

Spiked

Following the troubling news of increased cases of Spiking within nightclubs, bars and student unions, we created a film dedicated to teaching young adults the long-lasting mental and physical effects of spiking, what you can do to help keep yourself safe when out drinking and how we should react if we suspect someone we know is Spiking others.

Bonfire Night

Working in partnerships with West Yorkshire Fire Service, we developed a 3-part film and workshop series which follows a group of young adults during the build-up to Bonfire night. Within the films, we explore the key issues they face in staying safe including: congregating in large groups at unlicensed gatherings, the dangers of illegal fireworks and the abuse of firefighters.

What Next

Following lockdown, we created a 5-part film and workshop pack which focussed on tackling the big anxieties young people might be facing in this period, such as: social distancing, the return to school, physical and mental health, online safety and the future.

Film In a Day

“Film In A Day” is a concept we have been delivering to schools over a number of years. The process includes working with a selected group of students over one day, to devise and star in film of their creation surrounding a key topic of road safety or active and sustainable travel.

Deadly Distraction Online

A 5-part series of short films and interactive workshops to be delivered by teachers in school, each focussing on a different key aspect of road safety knowledge for KS3 students. Following the delivery of all 5 sessions, students will understand the dangers they face beside the road side and know how to choose the correct behaviour.

Lovebomb

A powerful and thought-provoking film surrounding the topic of domestic violence for older students. We follow a young woman stuck in a unhealthy relationship and show what she, and witnesses, can do to create a more positive future.

My Imaginary Friend

A film that touches on the effects domestic violence can have on very young students, teaching them what is and isn’t okay within a family setting and leaving them with positive messages.
